Swap from shower gels and shampoos to bars. They aren’t like the soap bars from days gone by which were made from harsh ingredients that strip your skin. Finally, another change you can make is to swap out your cotton wool and face wipes. Your bin is probably filled with the make-up covered cotton wool pads that you’ve been removing your makeup with. Most of these pads are treated with certain chemicals and aren’t very biodegradable. So you’re really just adding to landfill. Instead, save the environment and your money by investing in some reusable makeup remover pads. They’re organic, softer on your face and simply go in the wash to be reused again. They’re the price of a few packs of cotton wool and will last you for years.

Brands know that this is what people want so every day there are more and more choices of products available, so you don’t have to sacrifice quality.
